Limassol Forest
The Limassol Forest spreads east to west across the mountain ridges behind the town creating a natural green space some 25 miles by 10 miles. It is a national forest of naturally occurring calabrian pine, wild olive, and carob with many of the species of shrub and wild flower seen on the lower slopes of Troodos. Rising to 3280 feet its many trails and paths provide wonderful all round views of the coast the Mediterranean sea and the inland mountain ranges.
We provide free transport from Limassol into the forest. The journey takes about 20 minutes, and the circular walks on offer range in duration from an hour to five hours. The forest is an ideal place to spend a relaxing day.
