The Limassol to Troodos Bus Service

For those staying in Limassol, wishing to walk the wine country or mountain trails, the mountains bus service is an excellent relaxing way to travel.

The service operates Monday to Friday except for bank holidays, your hotel or the Cyprus Tourism Organisation, CTO, can tell you when these are!

The service offers around 4.5 hours at Troodos top, longer at intermediate stops, which is enough time to walk a number of trails, some of which are marked on our suggested walks pages.

OUTBOUND SERVICE

Time	Stop
9.15 AM	The service departs from the CTO office  in Germasoyia, on the Limassol seafront by the entrance to Dissoudi Beach.
9.30 AM	From here it calls at the Old Port roundabout by the Sponge Exhibition Centre  at 9.25 am, and the  central bus terminal.
10.30 AM	The bus reaches Platres.
11.00 AM	Troodos top main car park by the Post Office.

 

RETURN SERVICE

15.30 PM	Leaves Troodos.
15.40 PM	Calls at Platres.

 

On the way to and from Limassol there are several request stops including the villages of Pera-Pedi and Mandria in the Troodos Krasohorio, or wine villages.

Cyprus Walking Friends offers a totally unique service by organising return walks from all four of the stops mentioned, that is Pera-Pedi, Mandria, Platres and Troodos, on Wednesday and Thursday except bank holidays from 1st September through to 31st May.

We plan these walks to ensure that, walking within your own ability, you will meet the return bus without any problem. The cost of this guiding service is 20 EUR per person per day.

In addition, we offer car-assisted walks from these same stops to allow you to go a little further afield in the time you have available. Car-assisted walks obviously cost a little extra depending on the driving distance involved. You can see examples of these car-assisted walks on our suggested walks pages.

Just in case you are worried we promise we will get you safely back to your accommodation if you miss the bus!

All we ask is that you contact us locally, giving us 24 hours or more notice if you wish to arrange a walk.
